The Nova Post Lviv Half Marathon: Running for the Unbreakable will be held on May 3-4 in Lviv

During the first weekend of May, Lviv is going to host the largest running event of this spring — the Nova Post Lviv Half Marathon. This event will gather over 5,000 participants from all over the country, with not only a sporting but also a charitable goal of raising UAH 7 million to support the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center.

The 2025 series of marathons and half-marathons hosted by Nova Post in cooperation with NewRun is dedicated to a physical, emotional, and social barrier-free environment. The hosts are particularly focused on the accessibility of the event and will ensure barrier-free spaces at the starting point and along the routes. This way, everyone who dreams of running a half marathon can do it without any barriers.

Both professional runners and well-known influencers, including Yevhen Klopotenko, Mariia Pankiv, Vlad Khilchenko, and others, will join the event.

«We've worked out a format for everyone to find their own distance and run it: 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, or even 1 km — the ‘Support Run’, which will also be joined by patients of the UNBROKEN Center. This is a story about accessibility, unity, and power. We want running to unite and inspire,»

— says Oksana Suchenko, director of NewRun.

All registration fees paid by participants will be donated to the UNBROKEN Rehabilitation Center. The hosts are aiming to raise UAH 7 million.

More than 19,000 Ukrainians, including 350 children, have been treated at UNBROKEN since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. This center provides a full cycle of assistance, from emergency medical support to prosthetics and psychological rehabilitation.
